Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The Pangani Forest Exploration Trail is located in the heart of the Animal Kingdom theme park. This attraction features a walking trail that takes guests into the jungles of Africa for a close look at hippos, naked mole rats, meerkats, and gorillas. Throughout the exhibits, there are experts who will answer questions about the animals.
The walking trail is quite shaded and it was well thought out to keep guests cool.
There is no minimum height requirement.

When to Go
There is not a line to enter the trail so visit anytime throughout the day. I suggest visiting right after lunch.
Animal Kingdom Facts
- Because gorillas are nomadic and tend to travel around a lot, Disney occasionally removes the gorillas from the exhibit and redesigns it to look like a new area. This keeps the gorillas from getting bored with their environment.
- Pangani is Swahili for place of enchantment.
