Busch Gardens Theme Park in Tampa

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay combines thrilling rides, live entertainment, and one of the largest zoological institutions in the U.S., all operated by SeaWorld Entertainment. The park offers a unique blend of an African-themed experience and adrenaline-pumping attractions.

The name "Busch Gardens" traces its roots back to the personal private gardens of Adolphus Busch, one of the co-founders of Anheuser-Busch.

These gardens were first opened in 1906 in Pasadena, California, and later became a major tourist attraction and even served as a backdrop for Hollywood films in the 1930s. The original gardens were closed in 1937, however, the legacy continues on today in Tampa Bay, Florida, where Busch Gardens opened its gates on March 31, 1959. 

Spanning 335 acres, this park is home today to over 2,700 animals and more than 27 attractions, earning its nickname "The Dark Continent."
