One of the exciting parts about planning your Walt Disney World vacation is choosing what dining experiences you are going to have while on your trip! What is not so exciting is when the restaurant you are wanting to eat at is booked up. The holidays are the busiest time of year for theme parks, so here is a great list of how to get Disney dining reservations.
Plan, Plan, Plan
In the past, you would be able to book Disney reservations 180 days out, but currently, you can only book Disney restaurants 60 days in advance. If you know you are going to Disney 60 days out, make sure to book those sought-after dining experiences as soon as possible.
Don’t Give Up
When booking your reservations, you will first want to try the My Disney Experience App. This allows you to filter down to the restaurant you are wanting to choose. If you cannot find the availability you are looking for, try calling the Disney Dining Phone number at 407-939-7528.
Disney cast members can help you find what you are looking for or give you some great alternatives you may have not known about. If there is no availability on the app or by phone, don’t give up! Guests cancel and you may be able to find a reservation. Keep checking back on the app!
If you are not eating at the parks, but headed to the Walt Disney Resorts or Disney Springs, try using OpenTable. This is a newer website that lets you book reservations and has quite a bit of availability.
Make sure when you book your reservations 60 days in advance you also book at the time Disney opens the reservation booking. You can book online or through the My Disney Experience app at 5:45 am E.T. and can make reservations on the Disney Dining Reservations line at 7:00 am Eastern Standard Time.
Try booking first through the website, as it opens first. If you can use a computer, try using a computer to book reservations, it is known to be a little faster.
