July is a month of unprecedented fun and adrenaline-filled excitement, thanks to the 4th of July celebrations throughout the country. However, one place in particular shines above all, and that is the theme park heaven, Orlando, Florida.
But the truth is, the topic of the 4th of July celebrations in Orlando is a story too big to be told in one sitting. Therefore, this article will particularly focus on the 4th of July event at LEGOLAND: Red, White & BOOM!.
Before we move on to what this event has in store for you, a little bit about LEGOLAND, Florida.
LEGOLAND, Florida
For all the families looking to have a fun-filled Orlando vacation, nothing can be better than LEGOLAND. As the name suggests, it is a theme park that is all about legos, colors, education, and fun in an interactive and family-friendly manner.
There are over 50 rides that are spread across fourteen distinct lands covering about 150 acres! All these themed experiences have something unique to offer. There’s also a water park that is perfect for cooling off in the Florida sun.
Red, White & BOOM! Here’s What’s Up
On 3rd and 4th July this year, LEGOLAND Florida Resort is bringing back its two-day 4th of July special event full of variety, awe, and adventure. In this event, guests will get to participate in building a LEGO American flag brick-by-brick with a chance to win a LEGO prize pack, show their moves at a DJ dance party, or compete with other guests to see who makes the best patriotic creation.
But that’s still not all!
Fireworks at Red, White & BOOM!
At 9 p.m. on each event night, the guests will experience an amazing fireworks show over Lake Eloise and the opportunity to view this breathtaking spectacle from five different areas, which are as follows:
- Pirate’s Cove North & South Stadium
- Pirate’s Cove Grass Line
- Miniland USA
- Mansion Lawn at Heartlake City
- Lego Technic
Out of all these locations, the fireworks show is best experienced from Pirate’s Cove and near the edge of the lake. That is not to say that the views from other points are not good enough. When it’s time for the show, the guests can get pairs of complementary 3D glasses and watch the fireworks magically change into lego bricks, thanks to LEGOLAND’s fantastic thinking and creativity.
All the guests entering LEGOLAND Florida can see the Red, White & BOOM!. Select annual passes also allow guests to view this event. However, since the hurricane season runs from June to Nov in Florida, all events are subject to cancellation depending on the weather.
