SeaWorld during the first trimester
SeaWorld is not a huge park, so take your time exploring and build in plenty of rest time. Plan on seeing shows throughout the day, you’ll get a chance to sit down for a while at each show. If you have been experiencing morning sickness, avoid the animal exhibits before lunch; the odor may not bother most people, but if you are sensitive to smells while pregnant, it could be a problem.
A lot of women during their first trimester tend to get tired really easy. One of the great things about SeaWorld, it does not take all day to see and experience all you want to see. For some reason, even though the shows are the same at night they tend to be a little more special. This gives you and your family an opportunity top sleep in at your hotel near SeaWorld.
Second Trimester
Enjoy the park in comfort when you visit SeaWorld during your second trimester. While some rides will still be off-limits, you will have more energy for other attractions. Consider taking time for a behind-the-scenes tour or special brunch; you’ll be able to enjoy both a meal and some time with Sea World's star animal performers.
If you find yourself being hungry all the time, especially in your 2nd trimester, you might want to add the All day dining to your discount SeaWorld tickets. This option is usually $35 to $40 more than the standard admission ticket, but it allows you to get an entree, drink and desert every 90 minutes you are at SeaWorld. This is a really good deal if you are staying most of day at the park.
Third Trimester
Stake out a spot in some of SeaWorld’s cool, quiet locations and watch the animals frolic in comfort. The tunnel at Dolphin Cove is a good spot to sit and rest while others in your party ride the more vigorous attractions.
While it is usually a good idea to find seats early when you head to a show venue, make sure you know where the restrooms are before you enter the stadium; some shows are longer than others and you may need to take a break sooner than your non-pregnant companions. When you are in your third trimester, walking can be difficult and your feet can get sore really quickly. Remember. anyone can rent a stroller at SeaWorld. This might just make or break your day!
Consider staying at a Orlando luxury vacation homes or a luxury resort if SeaWorld is one of your primary destinations; you’ll be able to unwind in a tranquil setting at the end of each day.
Before you leave home
Plan on visiting your doctor a day or two before you are scheduled to leave home. Not only will having a recent doctor’s appointment help you feel confident about your health and travel, but you’ll be able to ask any last-minute questions you may have about your trip. Heading to Orlando knowing both you and baby are doing well will set your mind at ease, and allow you to fully enjoy all that SeaWorld has to offer.
