The Barnstormer at Storybook Circus Magic Kingdom Theme Park

The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini is a great roller coaster ride located in Storybook Circus inside the new Fantasyland expansion. While this roller coaster will seem quite tame for adults and older children, the younger children get a thrill by simply just riding a roller coaster. The coaster shaped like a classic airplane starts with a slow climb to the height of 30ft where it then goes through a series of twists, turns, and dips reaching a top speed of 35mph.

There is a 35" height requirement for this ride.

ages 2-4: This attraction is a great first roller coaster for young children, although some are still frightened by the ride.

ages 5-10: This attraction is a great first roller coaster for young children, although some are still frightened by the ride.

ages 11-15: Most pre-teens and teens find the ride a little too tame to be that exciting.

ages 16-adult: Considering the long lines and short ride time, this tame roller coaster is usually not worth riding for adults.

The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini attracts one of the longest lines for the shortest ride time in the Magic Kingdom. While the ride only lasts about 60 seconds (and much of that is climbing the first hill), the wait time can be over an hour. If you're planning on riding The Barnstormer, arrive at Mickey's Toontown Fair right when it opens and make it your first stop, during a parade, or try visiting in the last hour the park is open. Also, adults need to be aware that this ride is made for kids and the cars are too small to comfortably fit some adults.
