The Fantasmic! show at Disney's Hollywood Studios differs from its counterpart at Disneyland in California. One of the major differences is the absence of a Peter Pan segment, which is replaced by a Pocahontas number in the Disney World version.

During the pyrotechnics sequence, the performer playing Ariel remains on the boat due to her costume and hides under a flame-retardant blanket for safety.
