Age: Attraction Review:
ages 2-4: Young children with short attention spans might get restless.
ages 5-10: Some children might find the presentation a bit boring, but the Audio-Animatronics are usually enough to keep them entertained.
ages 11-15: Pre-teens and teens may find the presentation a bit boring, unless they have an interest in history. It does though provide a nice cool place to relax for a few minutes.
ages 16-adult: Many adults find the historical information interesting, and also enjoy the rest of the feet.
senior citizens: This classic attraction is very popular among seniors, especially those who have seen it in the past.
Disney Tip
Visit anytime as there are never any lines for this attraction. You might consider visiting at the hottest point of the day, since it provides air conditioning and a rest off the feet. It is not included in Genie+.
Disney Facts
Through the years, the Carousel of Progress has been the host of two of the more famous Disney theme parks songs, "Now is the Time" and "(There's a) Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow." Both songs were written by the Sherman Brothers.
A hidden mickey can be spotted in the final Christmas scene.
The show originally debuted at the New York World's Fair of 1964-1965. It was then moved to Disneyland where it played for almost a decade before finding its final home at the Magic Kingdom.
