Christmas at Universal Orlando Resort pours magic into their holiday celebrations with guests of all ages each year. What is even better, is that this is all included in your general admission tickets that you book with us, unlike Disney's After Hours Very Merriest event that will be available for an extra fee this year.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Christmas celebration (Universal Studios Orlando & Universal Islands of Adventure)

Christmas wishes are realized! Muggles can enjoy Hogsmeade & Diagon Alley with festive Christmas decorations. There is food and drink related to the holidays. The highlight of Orlando Christmas in Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the Christmas show that takes place at Hogwarts Castle.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Diagon Alley™

In Universal Studios Florida, Diagon Alley™ and London are transformed with festive décor and brilliant lighting. You can savor a hot Butterbeer™, and the atmosphere is brimming with excitement as Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees have a special show prepared just for the occasion.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Hogsmeade™

In Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Hogsmeade™ embraces the holiday spirit as the shops are festively decorated with garland and lights. The Frog Choir sings seasonal melodies and hot Butterbeer™, a seasonal favorite, is served.

Hogwarts Light Show

Don't be surprised if Universal is going to be busy for Christmas this year. Christmas at Hogwarts is one of our favorite experiences yet. The Holiday Light Show projections on Hogwarts Castle will be packed with muggles trying to get the best view of the show. We recommend you get there at least half an hour early before the show starts at dusk.

Our favorite spot is on the bridge between Hogwarts Castle and Jurassic Park. If this spot is already taken, the next best spot is near the stage next to the Flight Of The Hippogriff ride.

If you are going to video this event, please make sure to turn off your wi-fi because the muggle-packed Hogsmeade will make it hard for you to go live on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Make sure you follow our social media accounts so you can see live footage of the event before you arrive or if you can't make it this year!

Macy's Balloon Universal Christmas Experience

During the holiday season, multiple floats are set up in the parade to create a wintry, balloon-filled experience to accompany the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The man of the moment, Santa Claus, is there taking social distance photos with the guests.

Grinchmas (Universal Islands of Adventure)

For people who love the Grinch, there is no better time to go to Universal Islands of Adventure than during the Grinchmas. Seuss Landing is changed into an amazing world of Grinchmas with a moving live show called Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular.

Universal celebration of Christmas characters

Most of the characters from the traditional Christmas parade, which includes the cast of the films of the Minions, Shrek, and Madagascar franchises, arrive in floats to sing and dance (and also for their audience, to take selfies with them) with Christmas fans.

Blues Brothers Christmas Show

Jake and Elwood display favorites like "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town", "Blue Christmas" and others with snow on Delancey Street at the end of each show. The Blues Brothers Street Party Christmas Edition is a fan favorite and a must-see, even people unfamiliar with bands/movies will love it!
