What is a Universal Express Pass?

Universal Express pass refers to additional individual tickets bought to shorten the time in queue lines. It includes most attractions except for Fievel's Playland, Pteranodon Plyers, Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and Jurassic World's Velocicoaster.  

Do you need a Universal Express Pass?

Depends on when you come and what your goals are. If you only have one day per park and want to do everything it might be for you. It comes in two types Regular and Unlimited. So if you have a family that loves thrills and tend to ride attractions over and over again, maybe getting an Unlimited Express Pass is for you. Regular allows each person to ride once.

How does the Universal Express package work?

When you approach a ride with the Universal Express Pass, show it to the attendant; who will scan it. This allows you to enter the Express Pass queue. Closer to the ride loading area, the line will be combined with the regular line and may be scanned again.  Please note that Universal Express Pass does not have a group option. All members of the group will need their own Universal Express Pass. 

Can you get the Express Pass at Universal Studios?

The cost of Express Passes is in addition to entering the theme park regularly. Buying tickets online is easy, but you can also buy them at the park. You can get them at Guest service or the several kiosks around the parks.

How much is the Universal Express Pass?

Universal Express passes start at $79 per person. They can before one park, all parks, Regular and Unlimited. This can change the cost. The cost can also be affected by the day you come. Weekends and peak season will be more expensive.

What if I want private access?

You can get yourself a VIP experience. If costs are not a factor for you and time is a reward, Universal Studio offers a VIP experience that includes a tour, walk-on rides, and Express for the whole day. You can get the cheaper option which includes other groups. or if you really want to feel exclusive you can get a private tour for just you and your family.
