Minion Mayhem has Soft Opening in Universal Orlando
The eagerly anticipated Minion Mayhem attraction is currently having technical rehearsals and soft openings -- so if you are headed to Universal Orlando this week, you may be one of the lucky few to see the show early.
The new Minion Mayhem takes the place of Jimmy Neutron, and showcases some of Universals best talent--from punny signs to replicas of the films props and characters, Minion Mayhem delivers from the very second you step into line.
The line queue itself is packed with family friendly (though in the spirit of the film, Gru is anti-family), fun, including minion antics and propaganda. If you've ever wanted to know what it is like to become a minion to a villain, well, here's your chance!
About Minion Mayhem:
As of today, this attraction is in technical rehearsal, meaning it will be open for parts of the day and closed for others. if you are lucky enough to see it open, hop into line and head through, you'll have a blast!
Minion Mayhem is family friendly -- any kid who enjoyed the film will enjoy the attraction. You'll need to don some 3D glasses, and be aware that Minion Mayhem is interactive, so be prepared for some Boogie Fever, just like you see in the movie.
Once technical rehearsals are done, Minion Mayhem will be open full time in Universal Orlando, and is expected to be a big draw, particularly when the sequel to Despicable Me releases. Once Minion Mayhem is open for regular use, make it one of your early stops, lines will grow long as the day progresses.
