Blastaway Beach Opens Tomorrow at Wet N Wild

June 2, 2012 marks the highly anticipated opening of Wet n Wild's newest feature, Blastaway Beach. The new zone is all about kids, and includes watery fun that will last the whole day long. The newest splash zone is designed to appeal to families and is the largest of its kind in Florida. Wet n Wild has typically appealed to an older demographic, so the new section should be good news for families visiting Orlando.

Blastaway Beach offers several pools, 17 slides and a host of fun watery play areas. The new attraction has a sandcastle theme, with a towering sandcastle focal point and lots of beachy accents.

One of the nicest aspects of Blastaway Beach is the single entrance. While this area may see some congestion at different parts of the day, having a single way to get into and out of the family zone will make it easier to keep the family together, and cut down on wandering kids. Blastaway Beach is designed with privacy in mind, and is almost a park within a park -- though you won't pay extra to get in.

If you are visiting the Orlando area after June 2 and you have kids, Blastaway Beach is a fun place to visit with the whole family. If you're visiting on June 2nd, Universal/Wet n Wild is offering the first 35 families who visit a wristband good for free barbecue all day long.
