What is Reef Plunge and When Does it Open?
Launching just in time for spring break 2022, Reef Plunge is an exhilarating, brand-new water slide adventure that offers everything we’ve come to expect from the fan-favorite theme park: big splashes, bigger thrills, and one-of-a-kind underwater sights.
Reef Plunge takes things one step further by sending riders through over 330 feet of translucent cutouts and rings, which reveal an underwater world filled with cold-water marine life, including sardines, leopard sharks, dolphins, fish, and more! Of course, you’ll also experience plenty of adrenaline-raising moments as you zoom through multiple twists and turns before finishing your journey with a grand splash.
Who Can Ride Reef Plunge?
Reef Plunge is designed for any family planning to spend their Orlando vacation at the park, so there are only a few minor restrictions regarding who can experience the ride. To access the attraction, visitors must be at least 42 inches tall and weigh less than 300 lbs. Furthermore, the ride’s capacity only allows one rider to descend the tube at a time.
