A new month is here, and with it will be spring break visitors, Easter crowds, and travelers looking for a much-needed respite to an uncertainty-filled year.
Universal Studios Mardi Gras Celebration
Visiting the parks on your Orlando vacation? Consider heading to Universal Studios for their extended Mardi Gras Celebration which goes until April 11th, 2021. This years’ experience is focused on titillating the senses with flavorful arrangements that can be obtained by purchasing a lanyard. Purchasing the lanyard gives you the chance to taste a variety of foods around the park. Don’t forget to try some of the 13 Mardi Gras-themed beverages.
Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
The Taste of Disney World International Flower and Garden Festival event continues to run through July 5th at Walt Disney's Epcot. With over 30 million blooms, delicious foods to the same, and drinks to quench the thirst and delight the palate.
SeaWorld Seven Seas Festival
SeaWorld has its own celebration as well, known as the SeaWorld Seven Seas Festival. You can make your way around global markets and sample Asian, Latin, European, Polynesian foods, and more. Looking for a food and music fix, this is the place to be and features live entertainment.
Busch Gardens Food and Wine Festival
Busch Gardens features their Food and Wine Festival every weekend in April. Music, food, and fun are the meal of the day. You can purchase a variety of samplers and VIP upgrades. Upgrades that include concert seating and tasting sessions featuring Tequila, Bourbon, Sweet Wine, and with over 100 types of fine wines, hand-crafted cocktails, and delicious brews.
Sunset Walk Entertainment
For those not looking to visit the parks, there is an assortment of events. One of our favorite places to visit is Sunset Walk. They always have an assortment of events going on and for April. Visit their Show Car on Saturday Nights where Vintage Cars from 1987 and earlier, line up from 4-10 pm. Enjoy a live DJ and a laid-back atmosphere. On Sunday, April 11th. you can enjoy a Car & Truck Show from 11 am to 2 pm. Classic cars and truck collectors from all over, showcase their shining beauties. A DJ offers blood-pumping sounds and the beauty of Sunset Walk offers a serene backdrop. Sunset Walk also offers a variety of live entertainment nights, markets, and various car and truck shows for the rest of April.
Fiesta in The Park
The Fiesta In The Park is one of Orlando’s biggest arts and crafts events. It features over 600 artists and crafters displaying their original works which are also on sale. It also features live entertainment, many food vendors, and a play area for the kids. This event takes place in Lake Eola Park, in Orlando on April 3rd and 4th.
