6 Day Itinerary for your Orlando Vacation

6 Day Itinerary for your Orlando Vacation

Arrival Day: Have dinner at T-Rex in Disney Springs

Regardless of whether the family travels to Florida or flights, the day of your arrival has to be a discreet day when there are no crowds or waiting times. Start registering at your resort & take one hour or 2 to settle down and relax, if you stay more than four days for your Orlando vacation.

After surviving this epic flight, head to the fabulous Disney Springs restaurant district and enjoy a fun dinner at T-Rex, a dinosaur-themed restaurant. You will like it so much that you will wan to return for a second meal.

Days 2 & 3: Head to the Disney World parks

Disney's Animal Kingdom

From the second day on Disney vacations you can visit the great amusement park. The one we suggest for the entire family is Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. The park offers a great combination of roller coasters, shows & other attractions having unique experiences & a beautiful amusement park that is fun to enjoy. We start at Pandora - World of Avatars, the last expansion of the park. This is a beautiful park area where you feel as if you were entering a movie. You’ll want to go back home to watch the movie after experiencing this place!

There is a very long queue for the Avatar Flights of Passages (at times it can take up to three hours), but we make the trip along the Na'vi River, that has all of the plants & animals that shine like a beautiful and friendly show and trip, so that the entire family may keep walking. One thing we found in the park is that its track has really improved! There are interactive items to see, read or do as you’re standing in several rows. Having Fast Pass, waiting time in one of the queues usually doesn’t exceed forty minutes, several of which can be much shorter.

An attraction not to be missed is Kilimanjaros Safari ride. It’s like leaving the park & starting a desert tour. This is a long journey that gets you to so many distinct animals, so close & easy to see that it’s truly an extraordinary experience. This is by far the main reason for a journey to Disney World’s Animal Kingdom! There’re many other wildlife exhibits all throughout the park, including a trail where you can see gorillas, tigers and other fantastic animals. You should also take the time to view the Lion’s King Festival show that is a second favorite attraction in the park.

You may spend time in Dinoland to make many carnival games, DINOSAUR Ride, which will take you to the past to look for Dino & then dig & climb the Boneyard Playgrounds. If it's time to have a cool down, go to River Rapids but be ready to get soaked! When you’re a big roller coaster fan, Everest Expedition is a must! Begin to cross the mountains until you find a broken path that will take you back via the mountainside. You can also rate the images as great and fun if you are lucky.

Disney's Magic Kingdom

A trip to Orlando will not be complete without a day at Disney's Magic Kingdom, no matter how old you are! There are only feelings and a magical charm for everyone in your group. The best way to experience Magic Kingdom is during one of their special events traveling in the right season. Mickey's Halloween party tickets are not so scary, nor a one-day Disney World ticket. Without a doubt, it can be one of the best experiences during the season! With a limited parking authorization, you can drive a vehicle almost without lines! Most trips last less than 10 minutes. The longest wait is the train of the seven dwarfs.

Halloween parties include candy or tears throughout the park, special character shows, delicacies and unique items for events offered for sale and special shows only for the event. These include special shows, fireworks and live shows from Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. The show is very fun, especially when you see the castle in a really fun way, singing along with the music and feeling the energy and emotion of the audience. The park will begin to held this event at 4:00 p.m., although the event will not begin until 7:00 p.m. So go to the park on time and plan to make the most of these first hours!

Our favorite attractions in Magic Kingdom are:

    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    • Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin
    • Haunted Mansion
    • Mickey Mouse PhilharMagic
    • Monster, Inc. Field of Laughter
    • Flights to Peter Pan
    • Pirates of the Caribbean
    • Seven Dwarf Mines Train
    • Mountain Room
    • Splash Mountain
    • Under the sea Journey of the little mermaid
As you can see, there are many games and attractions in Magic Kingdom, not all of them are listed here! There are so many things to see, do and experience in the park. And, of course, you must end the night with a magical fireworks show. You won’t want your little ones to miss the parade!
Day 4: SeaWorld Discovery CoveSeaWorld Orlando’s Discovery Cove is a change from the busy crowd encountered the day before to a very secluded, fun park. This parks has limited admissions daily. There’s no line and the garden looks like the relaxing breaks amidst the hustles & bustles of Orlando. You will spend a day snorkeling on a cliff that your group will never want to leave. You may float on a windless river that takes you directly to the aviary to view the unique landscape of colorful birds instead. Or swim up to view beavers or guinea pigs up close. Get out from the waters & feed the bird in Aviary at no additional cost, all included! Discovery Cove offers wetsuits or diving jackets, snorkeling gear and even safe sunscreens for animals. You may add trips to the parks to make the day more special, such as encountering dolphins or bathing with sharks.
You can even dive deep into a coral reef by immersing yourself in a complete maritime activity for a unique experience. You also get all the food at the entrance of your garden, which means you can have lunch, breakfast, drinks & snacks in the park all day. The theme park is very beautiful and becomes a base for a very relaxing park day. If it's time to leave, Discovery Cove offers towels, showers & even shampoo & soap so you can feel refreshes before heading back. Your stay also includes a 14-day access to SeaWorld Orlando  & Aquatica Park if you got the extra hours.
Day 5: Wizarding World of Harry PotterUniversal Orlando consists of two theme parks: Universal Studios Orlando and Universal's Islands of Adventure. The magical world of Harry Potter is our main goal, but children also like other areas and attractions such as Seuss Landing and Despicable Me. Today you were outside several times when we went to Diagon Alley at Universal Studios in Florida. After the wand ceremony in Ollivanders, we spent a lot of time singing spells, drinking butter beer and riding Fugue from Gringott. We take the Hogwarts Express to Hogsmeade on the Universal Islands of Adventure and explore this fantastic thematic area in depth. In the Harry Potter area you can ride Harry Potter and the forbidden trip, the hippogriff flight and the dragon challenge (which has since been closed) in Hogsmeade. Everything is extraordinary.
Day 6: Shopping time!Spend the sixth day with other activities in Orlando. Visit the souvenir shops outdoors, go to a mini golf course or visit Gatorland. Other options include a stay at Disney Springs or a visit to the Disney water park. Finally, you can choose additional theme parks like Legoland or Universal Studios Orlando. This is the right time to get last minute souvenirs and more.
