Planning for your Disney World Christmas vacation can be an exciting time, but it can be difficult trying to decide what to wear. Traveling to Florida you would expect the weather to be hot all the time, but in the winter it does get cold. So, do you pack bathing suits or jackets?
The average temperature in Orlando in December is 55 degrees for the low and 75 degrees for the high. In the morning and after dark, that can be quite cold, especially for the little ones. During the middle of the day, while the sun is out, 75 degrees is just perfect. What to Wear for Mom?
Wearing layers is a must when traveling to Disney in December. For going to the park, leggings are a great to go for pants, not too hot, and comfortable to walk through the parks. For the kids, you will want to make sure they are wearing pants and closed-toe shoes to the parks to stay warm. Kids can wear a t-shirt and bring a heavier jacket for them to wear after dark. During the day it can be warm while the Florida sun is shining on you, but while watching the fireworks it will be cold and windy. Make sure you bring a hat to cover their heads and help them make it all night.
