2: Sweet Tomatoes
Known through much of the country by their alternate name Souplantation, this buffet is always fresh and offers an incredible salad bar. It’s one of the few restaurants in the Orlando area that offers tons of choices for those looking for healthy alternatives, plus vegetarians and vegans. Everyone can find something lovely here though, including a wide range of soups, muffins, breads, and pastas. If you’re looking for something a little different, but still picky-eater approved, El Palacio may be your best bet. You won’t find frills, you won’t find fine dining, and you won’t have success sticking to a diet here. However, you will get to sample some delicious Dominican and Puerto Rican food, including empanadas, yucca, platanos, and tons of other goodies. The adults in your group can check out some Authentic Latin beers, like Modelo and Presidente, while the kids can take a crack at some specialty Latin sodas. Lunch and dinner are both less than $7 so this is a great deal for a larger family.701 W. Lancaster Rd.
