Best Places to Live in Orlando
Looking to relocate to the Orlando area and not really sure where to look or where to start? Here we have a list of areas and neighborhoods deemed some of the best places to live.
There are many more lovely and worthy districts to settle down here, but these are some of the top-rated and best. No matter where you choose to live, it’s good to do your research. Not everyone wants the same things or needs all the amenities, but we hope this list has given you a starting point.
Winter Park
First I’ll start with one of my personal favorites, Winter Park. Not to be confused with Winter Garden, this lovely little suburb features adorable shopping areas, scenic streets, and elegant housing areas. It also features a chain of lakes, country clubs, delicious restaurants, and plenty of things to do for the family.Maitland
Next, we have Maitland, another Suburb of Orlando with a smaller population. It has lots of young families have found this the ideal place to buy a home and start their life. Maitland boasts a great school district and rates A+ in the niche grade of cities, based on safety, nightlife, diversity, and schools.Doctor Phillips
On the top radar of best places to live in Doctor Phillips, also a smaller suburb of Orlando with a population of 10,488. Doctor Phillips offers residents a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes. This community also offers good schooling, is low on crime and you’ll find no shortage of restaurants and things to do here. The trees and water fountains of Doctor Phillips throughout offer striking visuals. You’ll also find that many young professionals choose here to make their homes. It also is less than 10 miles from the Universal Studios Resort. Also worth mentioning are Heathrow, Oviedo, and Altamonte Springs. All rated highly for community, schools, nightlife, and more. You’ll find no shortage of bodies of water, scenery, or parks.Davenport
A favorite for families looking for community and to be closer to Disney World in Davenport. A good place for those on a budget, looking for a safe and affordable place to live. The only downside is traffic coming out, but when you live in Florida crazy traffic is just a given. More so in some places than others.Celebration
Celebration is also a wonderful place to call home and was the original destination for Disney World. It now boasts elegant homes, picturesque shopping, and dining. The Celebration scenery is the kind that would make the heart sing. Living here is a little more costly but it’s definitely a suburb worth having on the radar for anyone looking to settle down long term here in sunny Orlando, FL.There are many more lovely and worthy districts to settle down here, but these are some of the top-rated and best.
