There is a special sort of tranquility that comes by sounds of calm waves and the gentle smell of salt. The surreal background of our lovely aquatic comrades that come whirling around us. Here are a few aquariums you can visit on your Orlando vacation while traveling, or living in Florida.

The Florida Aquarium

Dolphin Days at SeaWorld

While Dolphin Days is a proven favorite, it is temporarily closed until further notice. We wanted to include the information for you so you can keep checking back for when they open back up. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience when you visit SeaWorld and see many of our underwater friends.

Here are some other aquariums to check out if you plan on visiting with our aquatic friends.

The Manta Aquarium located inside the SeaWorld park, offers a unique 360-degree pop-up aquarium puts visitors in the center of undersea activity. Although temporarily closed, the Marine Science Center is an amazing place to visit when it’s open. The recently opened, the Tarpon Springs Aquarium is an aquarium and animal sanctuary and is proving to make a big splash. Another favorite the St. Augustine Aquarium in Florida is an incredible place to visit, live, or just experience special vacation time with your family or significant other.

While Covid may have us feeling “under the weather” you can still venture out safely. Places enforcing social distancing and enforcing masks, keep us safe and give us a peace of mind during these times. Our aquariums are no different.
