It is well known that Orlando consist of some of the best and biggest theme parks in the nation with Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando and more. However, a lot of visitors want to make their Orlando vacation unique and skip the parks for a day. We know some ways to do that!
As Florida having unique beaches, we have listed those that are closest to Orlando, Central Florida, area, that everyone can enjoy. From white sandy beaches to amazing restaurants, here is a list of the ones we think are totally worth it:

Cocoa Beach: Cocoa Beach, this most famous beach near Orlando Florida, & perhaps one of the most famous in the region, is Route 528 that has just been launched from the Orlando metropolitan region. The famous beach destination has a 300-meter pier with restaurants, bars, shops and live shows (free!), As well as the Ron Jon Surf Shops, the largest surf & water sports shop in the world. If you require new equipment, Ron Jon's 52, thousands square foot commercial space will surely be what you are looking for. There is no more better beach for surfing, paragliding, paddle, skim-board or windsurfing: Cocoa Beach has many options for water sports, loans and instructions. In addition, Cocoa Beach area is the only public beach in Florida open to the dog, provided they wear a six-foot leash & visit between 6:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m. / 5:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.

Vero Beach: Less than 2 hours southeast of Orlando is the Vero Beach complex. This area is popular for its elegant city center, its beautiful nature reserves in Indian River Lagoon &, also, the Atlantic Ocean. Disney World has even opened their own Florida Treasure Coast beach resort. Then, unless you are ready to separate from Mickey Mouse, where you may enjoy the best of the 2 worlds. Disney World True Beach Resort provides singing together, bonfires, kayaking adventures & even surf schools.

New Smyrna Beach: If you love to visit a locally approved beach for your next Orlando vacation, visit New Smyrna Beach area. The beautiful enclave is known for its surf spots (a place rarely found on the east side coast!), Beautiful unique shops & delicious restaurants. The best part? You may drive your car on a crowded sandy beach until you locate the ideal place for your equipment. Nearby there are rental shops where you can surf, fly or paddle easily. However, sunbathing & swimming are not the worst ways to spend the day at NSB. After sunbathing and surfing, head to the historic Flagler’s Avenue, home to countless shops and restaurants, including Flagler’s Tavern, a popular surfing spot in the 1920s!

Cape Canaveral National Seashores: how many beaches offer a perfect view of NASA's Cape Canaveral launch pad? This ancient barbarian island not only offers a place to think about modern space travel. 57,000 acres of virgin coastline is one of the longest in the United States, home to a very diverse ecosystem and endangered animals such as manatees and sea turtles. Canaveral National Seashore, one of the quietest beaches in the country, offers wonderful places for swimming and sunbathing, quiet trails and excursions, and even the possibility of riding along the coast. It seems pretty dreamy, right? If the time is right, you can take NASA's space launch after a day in the sun on a beach that has not developed at all.

Daytona Beach: "it’s the most popular beach in the world" and just one hour from downtown Orlando. Daytona Beach is about car, a spot where you can see the famous NASCAR race & also drive your car on the beach. Free summer concerts alongside movies & fireworks are provided in the shell band from May to October. There is a lot of fun in the nearby pedestrian zone and at the fishing pier. If you want to relax, head to the Ponce Inlet & ride the tallest lighthouse in Florida, built in the year 1835. Downtown Dayton's Beach Street, near Ormond Beach area, its home to the former John D. Rockefeller beach house and local restaurants on the Granada Boulevard.

Clearwater Beach: though Clearwater Beach’s a bit longer than Orlando (approximately 1 hour & 50 minutes), clear, white sand beaches and warm water & beautiful sunsets are worth an extra mile. The Gulf of Florida coast is popular for its sunsets & catching one in Clearwater Beach will not disappoint you. If you are looking for beach activities, don't miss Sunsets at Piers. There you will find drinks, food and activities for families that will allow your crew to enjoy the end of an ideal day at the beach: 365 days a year. Or visit Clearwater Points for more lively activities similar to SeaWorld Orlando. Think of fun, local seafood restaurants, beach bars & nightlife.

St. Pete Beach: This beach is ideal for your next vacation in Orlando! In the center of the St. Pete Beach, is a historic pink building, the Loews Don Cesar Hotel, built in 1928 in the center of the era of American jazz. Dinners or cocktail visits are worth the nostalgic atmosphere, like Gatsby but on your trip to Orlando.
