National Picnic Day

Today is National Picnic Day and where better place to have a picnic than Walt Disney World! Of course, you first need admission to get into the parks with Disney Springs being the exception. However, if you do picnic at the parks while on your Orlando vacation, know that guests may bring food into the park. There are a few restrictions such as that glass jar of jelly will have to stay home because of the restriction of glass containers. Disney also restricts alcoholic beverages on Disney property. Aside from these reasonable limitations, pack up that picnic basket and round up the family.

Disney's Magic Kingdom

Disney World has all the ingredients of a great picnic place. Places to eat with a variety of amazing scenic views. There are outdoor tables, benches and if you brought a blanket, have a picnic on the Hub Lawn. This is a perfect spot overlooking the majestic Cinderella's Castle.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

There are also many good places to eat here with outdoor tables and benches. A great place to sit down is at the stadium seating area in Dinoland U.S.A or Asia. This area gives you enough places to sit and overlooks the Discovery River Lagoon.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

No question here, if you are a fan of Star Wars then what better place to have a picnic than on the planet of Batuu? There are a variety of places with outdoor tables and benches as well, but none that overlooks the legendary Millenium Falcon. It might be a little tricky finding a spot to sit down, though.

Disney's Epcot

If you've ever been to Epcot's World Showcase, then you know that there are many places here to picnic at. You can even brag about having lunch in France!

Disney Springs

Finally, at Disney Springs, there are so many sights to see and places to picnic here as well. Pick the right spot and you can have your picnic while overlooking the Rainforest Cafe's erupting volcano.
