How to spend all day in Magic Kingdom
Disney World Orlando is a theme park paradise.
It has four main parks:
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Animal Kingdom,
and
Hollywood Studios.
Out of the four, Magic Kingdom is the home to castles, pirates, princesses, and the star of the show, Mickey Mouse. It was the first park to open in 1971 and has a signature value among all the parks. Therefore, in this article, we will talk about how you can spend a fulfilling, exciting, and a memorable day at the Magic Kingdom.
A day in Magic Kingdom
The Thrilling Space Mountain Ride at Magic Kingdom
Space Mountain is a thrill and suspense-filled rollercoaster ride that doesn't let you see what is ahead of you. Suddenly, you might be dropping down at full speed or taking a sharp left because the ride is totally dark throughout its run time. It is a family ride which provides an exhilarating experience that can charge you up for the rest of the day at the Magic Kingdom. However, the kids must be at least 3'8" to ride.
The guests begin by boarding the train that looks like a rocket ship. Each train has two cars and can carry up to 6 people. Guests are then blasted off into "space", and the ride lasts for about 2.5 minutes of crazy exciting fun.
The Fantastic Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom
The trip to the Magic Kingdom is incomplete without visiting the iconic Cinderella castle that adorns the majority of the Disney World pictures. The castle is a magical place for old and young alike and retells the story of Cinderella.
Visiting this castle is double the fun if you are with little girls as they will be transformed into little princesses at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The young boys can also adorn the look of brave knights or even pirates.
Cinderella's Royal Table- a restaurant inside the castle-is there for you to sit down in the middle of the Magic Kingdom trip and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also expect the princesses to appear and mingle with you and your little ones here.
Loot Fun with Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom
Pirates of the Caribbean is a classic Disney ride and an integral part of the Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney himself participated in the original design. It has since been updated many times to include exciting elements from the movies such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbossa, and Davy Jones. The ride features pirates as they take over the ship once it starts with a big drop and circles around the Port Royal.
