Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival Celebrates its 19th Year
One of Epcot's most popular events, the annual Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing this spring, and will continue through May 20, 2012.
What to Know if you Go:
Events: Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival features free seminars and demonstrations, fun play areas for kids (don't miss the Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden), activity zones and displays of new, innovative home and garden designs.Stop by the garden festival event center (the former Wonders of Life pavilion), for classes, demos and "ask the expert" sessions. You'll also have the opportunity to see live presentations from some of your favorite HGTV stars, the full event schedule is below:
Who should go: While this event is named the "Flower and Garden" festival, and will delight any garden enthusiast, it also has plenty to offer the other members of the family as well. There are sample gardens and outdoor patio room displays scattered throughout the park -- these are great for inspiration, or for just sitting and admiring the decor. Kids will love the fairy playground, Bambi's Butterfly Garden (complete with hatching and emerged butterflies) and the fun activity ones scattered throughout the festival.
