Disney Dining Plan FAQ's

Choosing the ingredients to add to your Disney vacation package can be a challenge -- what tickets do you need? What add-ons are best for your family? We'll take a quick look at the popular Disney Dining Plan, and help you figure out if this addition is a good choice for you.

Alcoholic beverages Alcoholic beverages are not included in most Disney Dining Plans.

What is the Disney Dining Plan?

The Disney Dining Plan is an optional add-on for your Disney World vacation. Depending on the specific plan you choose, you'll get one snack, one counter service meal and one table service meal per day. You'll pre-pay for the plan, and then you won't pay a dime at the register for covered items during your vacation. The Disney Dining Plan is both convenient and a good value for most visitors, provided you use all of the supplied credits.

What foods can I get?

You'll get a brochure detailing what the plan covers when you arrive, but in general, you can get snacks like pastries or icecream, fast food meals like burgers, ribs or pizza and table service meals at locations like Chefs de France in Epcot or the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom.

Are there any restrictions? Just about every onsite restuarant in the Disney World theme parks and resorts accepts the Disney Dining Plan, with the exception of Victoria & Albert's in the Grand Floridian. A select few popular locations, including Le Cellier (dinner only) and Cinderella's Royal Table have been designated Signature Dining Locations, and require two meal credits instead of one. No matter where you dine, if you choose a table service location, you'll still need to make a reservation in advance.

Who is the Disney Dining Plan best for? Anyone who enjoys onsite dining can benefit from the dining plan. In particular, big eaters, families with big kids or teens and those who like to sample a lot of cuisines without worrying about price will get the most from the Disney Dining Plan.
