Crowds
With more than 50 million people visiting Disney every year, crowds can play a huge part in selecting the perfect time to visit. The best option is to visit when schools are out of session in the U.S. The final week in January and the first week or two of February generally have low crowds, and September is another popular option amongst those who want to avoid the lines.Weather
There’s no question that Florida weather can be extreme – and it can ran a lot! You should plan for rain, no matter when you’re visiting. In the winter months you can have highs in the 80s with lots of humidity, and lows in the 40s or 50s at night.Special Events
Depending on how interested you are in them, visiting during special events can be a pro or a con. You’ll see larger crowds for events like Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, or Star Wars Weekends, but you may want to plan a trip during these times if they hold special interest for you.Costs
Generally speaking, you’ll see lower prices the lower the crowds are. However, prices will change daily no matter the time of year. For example, hotel rooms on Fridays will always be more expensive than hotel rooms on Thursdays. Some restaurants will also change their prices seasonally. You’ll have to weigh these factors for yourself to decide which factors are most important, and then select the perfect time for your visit with the kids.
