There’s such a huge variety of park tickets in Walt Disney World Vacation packages that everyone can surely find just what they want. That said, the many options can get confusing. Read on to get the basic details on magic your way tickets and other popular ticket options.

The Magic Your Way Base Ticket

A Magic Your Way base ticket offers admission to one theme park per day for however many days are on the ticket. This means that you can only visit one theme park per day but you can visit a different park the next day. The four theme parks are:

• Magic Kingdom
• Hollywood Studios
• Epcot
• Animal Kingdom

These tickets expire fourteen days after they are first used. They don’t include park hopping (the ability to visit more than one park per day) or admission to other Disney World attractions like the water parks or golf course.

Also of note: You can only use one admission per day. For example, if you have a seven-day Magic Your Way ticket, you can use one day’s admission to enter Epcot (or any other park). If you want to then visit Animal Kingdom (or any other park) you can’t use another admission on your Magic Your Way Ticket.

Disney World Vacation Packages

So far we’ve discussed the base tickets that come with Disney World packages but you can also choose a package that includes extras. Popular examples include:

• Park Hopper. This allows you to visit more than one park per day. In fact, you could visit all four parks in a single day if you’d like.
• Park Hopper Plus. This includes the ability to visit as many parks as you’d like to each day, as well as admission to other Disney locations like the water parks, mini-golf, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This option also covers green fees at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course.

Choosing the Right Tickets

As you plan your Disney vacation and compare the various Disney World packages, you’ll need to think carefully about whether the additions of Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus are worth it. Note that you can always upgrade once you’re in the parks.

As a result, it’s not uncommon for visitors to choose Walt Disney World vacation packages without Park Hopper options. They then try to stick to a single park in one day but if they find that they want to visit a second park, then they can go to any Guest Services location and add on Park Hopper. No matter what a person chooses, they can count on one thing: Their vacation is going to be magical!
