2010 November Events at Disney World
Disney World Orlando hosts very many special events all year round and November is not left out. From the very first day of the year through the last day in December, there is always something to look out for. November happens to be the last month before Christmas bells come ringing, so a lot of events are lined up to waltz you and prepare you for the big showdown in December. Compare the events in 2010 to the events in 2024 for November. Isn't it really cool to see how everything evolves and grows.
One special event in November that any child would not want to miss is the Children's Miracle Network Golf Classic; designed as a competition among children with a flair for golf. It holds between November 11 and 14. Cash prizes and other gifts are up for grabs at the end of the competition.
Ok, so you don’t like golf, there is another special event that runs almost simultaneously with the Children's Miracle Network Golf Classic, and that is the Annual Festival of the Masters, running through November 12 and 14. The art Festival is concentrated at Downtown Disney Westside, and features the works of some of today's top artists. Artwork mediums such as photography, glass work, paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, jewelry, leather & wood, mixed media and collage, and Digital art are displayed. At the Marketplace, amazing chalk artists create masterpieces on the sidewalks.
Also commencing in November is the Christmas Countdown events fully packed and a delight for people of all ages. A lot of fireworks, colors, and music will fill the air. Keep in mind, most of these events are extra's and your Disney World theme park tickets will not work. Most of them require a specialty ticket. The events are lined up as follows: Walt Disney World Theme Parks (Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom) Candlelight Processional - 11/26/10 - 12/30/10. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - 11/08/10 - 12/19/10. Mickey's Jingle Jungle Expeditions - 11/26/10 - 1/03/11. Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights - 11/8/10 - 1/03/11. Holiday Sleigh Ride - 12/01/10 - 12/30/10 and the Hollywood Holly-Day Parade raps it up.
