Vacation Home or Town home

Often times when we are talking with clients about where to stay, in our effort to provide them with the most complete information we talk with them about Orlando vacation homes as well as town home near Disney World. We currently have properties in three vacation town home communities: Terre Verde Resort, Encantada Resort, and Windsor Palms/ Windsor Hills Resort. In addition to these communities we also offer spacious 3, 4, and 5 bedroom private pool homes.

All of our private pool homes are located 8.5 miles to Disney World’s main entrance in three separate developments: Sandy Ridge, Windwood Bay, and Legacy Park. All three developments where built by the same builder and each home has pretty much the same feel and similar layouts. These homes are very spacious and they all come complete with their own private pool

When we bring a new home into our rental pool we classify them into two categories: Luxurious and Standard. The luxurious series has more of a ‘WOW’ factor when you walk through the front door. Since each home has the same layout and same size pools the difference in the two series is the interior décor. All the luxurious models have been professionally decorated by our local design firm, TLC Design. The standard level homes are really nice, but many of these homes were sold furnished. As you well know, builders don’t have a lot of decorating sense so they usually end up going to Rooms To Go and buying a living room set and a couple of bedroom sets. While these homes are clean and nice, they just don’t offer the same ‘WOW’ factor or personnel decorating touch that the luxurious homes offer.

All the pool homes come complete with all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, iron and ironing board, towels, and all the bed lines. The three bedroom homes are around 1400 square feet, with the four bedroom homes being around 1700 square feet, and the five bedroom homes being 2000 plus square feet. So these homes are very spacious, and they offer the utmost in privacy since each home is not connect to another home and they have their own private pool.

The town home communities offer more activities for the children and young adults than the vacation homes, but they tend to be a little smaller. For example a three bedroom town home in Terre Verde for example is around 1100 square feet and the private pool is more of a splash pool as compared to a full blown swimming pool. The town homes come fully equipped with everything you would find in the vacation home such as: pots, pans, dishes, sheets, bed linens, towels, etc. The major difference between the pool homes and the town homes is the size of the unit, the size of the private swimming pool, and in a town home your unit will be connected to another unit or possibly two units.

The major advantage a town home has over the vacation homes is that the town homes are built in vacation communities. Each one of these communities have great clubhouses with many activities for your family to enjoy.

Encantada Resort Clubhouse: The resort is located literally two miles from Disney World, and at the clubhouse they offer a huge electronic game room, pool table, fitness room, bar which serves cocktails from 5pm to 9 pm daily and coffee and doughnuts in the morning, two great swimming pools (one being a zero restriction swimming pool), two children pools, and a large lake of for fishing or enjoying the view.

Terre Verde Clubhouse: This resort is about 7 minutes to Disney World, and at the clubhouse it has a huge swimming pool which is zero restriction (starts off toe deep and gets to over 6 ½ feet deep), work out facility, playground for smaller children, basketball court, tennis courts, and a large lake to fish in or to enjoy the views.

Windsor Palms/Windsor Hills Clubhouses- These two developments are virtually the same. They sit right next to each other and they offer pretty much the same amenities. They both have great swimming pools at the clubhouse as well as game rooms, work out facilities, gated communities, basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds for the smaller children. These two developments do offer different amenities: the Windsor Palms has an awesome water slide which is a huge hit with teenagers, and the Windsor Hills offers a mini movie theater which your family may rent out.
